4A & 8A Dimmers — Now Available with Built-In DimmerLink
No more stacking modules. No more extra wiring. We took our proven TRIAC dimmers and built the DimmerLink controller right in.
Two Versions, One Product Page
Every 4A and 8A dimmer now comes in two variants — choose directly in the product listing:
Standard — the classic module with Z-C and DIM pins. You handle the timing in your code, use your favorite library, do it your way.
DimmerLink — same dimmer, but with UART/I2C interface pins instead of Z-C/DIM. The onboard Cortex-M+ handles all zero-cross detection, phase angle calculation, and TRIAC firing internally. You just send commands.
What Changes for You
With the DimmerLink version, your connection to the dimmer is pure digital communication. Four pins: VCC, GND, and either TX/RX or SDA/SCL. No timing-critical signals running across wires. No interrupt handlers. No library dependencies.
Send SET 75% — the dimmer does the rest.
Same Footprint, Same Reliability
The board dimensions, mounting holes, and AC terminal layout are identical between Standard and DimmerLink variants. If you're upgrading an existing project, the AC side stays exactly the same. Only the low-voltage interface changes — from analog timing signals to a clean digital bus.
Who Is This For
If you're building with ESPHome, Tasmota, Home Assistant, or any platform where CPU cycles matter — the DimmerLink variant gives you flicker-free dimming without touching a single timer register. Ideal for solar routers, heater controllers, coffee roasters, and reflow ovens where your MCU is already busy doing other things.
If you prefer full manual control or have your own timing code — the Standard variant is still right there, same listing, one click away.
